A BIG part of determining how to best treat and manage your dizziness symptoms is to talk about when they started, how they feel, what increases and decreases symptoms, and your overall general health history.

Then it is important that we rule out any central nervous system involvement prior to evaluating the vestibular system itself. If your symptoms are due to a vestibular impairment or dysfunction, I will perform treatment which often includes canalith repositioning maneuvers, manual therapy, and exercises for your balance, eye tracking, and vestibular functioning.

I understand that this description can feel a bit overwhelming! Please know that we will take everything one step at a time. I will educate you along the way so that you can make an informed decision and consent prior to any examination or treatment.

After and Initial Evaluation has been complete, you can schedule 30 or 60 minute follow-up treatment sessions. The time options are flexible to meet the needs of your schedule, financial situation, along with the severity of your symptoms or treatment needs.

Overall, treatment sessions focus on any hands-on care that is still needed, such as canalith repositioning maneuvers and manual treatments.

These sessions are also where we explore exercises that may work for your condition, as well as discuss protocol and parameters to establish and progress a home exercise program.

On the road, have a tight schedule, or feeling like you maybe coming down with something? As long as we have already completed the Initial Evaluation and you aren’t needing hands-on treatments or maneuvers, you can schedule a virtual telehealth visit with me for 30 or 60 minutes.

In this session, we can assess symptoms, discuss and/or progress your personalized exercise program, and review any self-maneuvers or treatment approaches we have previously established.
